Project: University of East Anglia
Location: Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom
Architect: LSI Architects
Located in 320 acres of parkland the University of East Anglia is an internationally renowned university based in a campus that provides quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 13,000 students.
In designing the new student accommodation and learning center LSI Architects wanted to deliver a high quality, technically sophisticated new Business School on behalf of Kier Eastern. The Petrarch panels were manufactured in-house by Omnis and produced to a unique color to meet the architect’s exact requirements.
As the modern alternative to stone, cement and slate, Petrarch panels give the impact needed to make designs stand out from the crowd. They bring individuality and style to a building while being extremely durable, low maintenance and highly resistant to impact. In the US, Petrarch panels passed the rigid requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 285 Fire Test Standard.
Manufactured by Omnis, Petrarch’s strength and lightweight features in both 5/16” (7mm) and 7/16” (10mm) thicknesses make it the ideal choice for unique façades. Choose from a variety of colors and finishes to customize your project.
