Established in 1869 as San Antonio’s first private hospital, Christus Santa Rosa is one of the top healthcare organizations in South Texas. The hospital features a full range of services, and is part of a system that includes more than 1,000 licensed beds and a number of specialty centers.
The administration of this 12-story hospital asked the architect to create a “new look” which was economical, durable and low maintenance. Stone aggregate panels were selected to replace outdated ceramic tile and update the look of this hospital.
Steni stone aggregate panels are beautiful and durable, and feature natural crushed stone. They are ideal for both creative new buildings and renovations. Various types of stone, from a number of different geographical and geological areas, provide a wide range of natural stone colors and grades. Further variations and exciting architectural expressions can be achieved by combining different colors and grades.
