The NFPA 285 test evaluates the flammability characteristics of exterior, non-load bearing wall assemblies. To successfully pass the test, a product must sufficiently resist flame propagation vertically and laterally beyond a satisfactory distance from the fire exposure source. Petrarch building panels successfully passed the test conducted by Intertek, located in York, Pennsylvania.
